Fahren has been in the youth, community development, and expanded learning field for over 25 years. She was a Senior Program Officer for the Greater Tacoma Community Foundation and provided oversight of their investments in Out-of-School-Time and Social Emotional Learning initiatives. She also worked as a Senior Program Director for YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties where she successfully piloted the launch of middle and K-5 community school models. Most recently, she served as the Director of Strategic Initiatives at Greentrike, leading their work on the County wide Out-of-School Time Intermediary with a strong focus on social justice, access, and racial equity. Fahren is currently the Chief Executive Officer for AMARA in Washington State.
Fahren’s musical talent can be coined as sultry and soulful, fusing her faith with musical composition that spans generations and reaches both believers and non-believers. She has ministered on church worship teams, as well as in her local community and around the nation. Fahren’s second full-length album “Life Changing Music” was published and released through Hunter Entertainment Network, formerly Christ HuNterz Productions.
