Vontell Frost Tucker is a retired senior executive who worked for the U.S. federal government. During her 41 and a half years of service, she held a number of positions including serving as an office director for the equal employment opportunity staff and a director of civil rights in two cabinet departments. In those positions, she was responsible for developing policy, methods, and procedures for implementing and evaluating national EEO programs, which included cultural diversity. She also was a mediator, Federal Women's Program Manager, EEO Counselor, and senior public affairs specialist. Vontell received a Bachelor of General Studies degree from Indiana University and a Master of Business Administration from Strayer University. She wrote Conflict Resolution: Alternative Management Strategies for her master's thesis. She and her husband, Lloyd Tucker, Sr., live in Alexandria, Virginia.
