Shaketa Thomas currently provides financial leadership as the Finance/Human Resource Director at Multi-County Community Service Agency, Inc. Ms. Thomas’ career spans over twenty-six years with the organization and is instrumental in its financial stability. She has worked across the State of Mississippi assisting and training new finance directors. In addition, she is the Site Coordinator for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA) that provides free income tax preparation to low income families.
Ms. Thomas earned a Master of Business Administration in Management, a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Certification in Human Resource. She received several recognition awards including Making a Difference, Most Outstand Fiscal Staff of the Year, Supervisor of the Year Award by The Mississippi Association of Community Action along with other service awards.
She is the founder of Tho’mastery, LLC, a faith-aligned financial consulting firm that provides an array of financial services. Her diverse skills and knowledge with community action programs have allowed her to contribute to various functions helping both employees and customers. Alongside of her vocational duties, she serves as Finance Administrator at Transforming Lives Ministries in Heidelberg, MS and leads some of the church’s outreach ministries. In pastime, she loves to travel and spend time with family.
