Katrina A. Adkins is from Franklin, Virginia. Katrina always had an ability to write creatively and always wanted to write a series of children's books even as a child. Katrina faced obstacles as a child as she was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes at the age of 11. During this time, she began to use her obstacles as a way to inspire her writing, leading to her Butterfly Kingdom series. Katrina's greatest aspiration is to help children discover their God-given talents and to encourage them at the same time.
