Jordan Boley was in the 9th grade and an Honor student at Neville High School in Monroe, Louisiana when she wrote Veiled Emotions, a Story of Bullying. She was also a Peer Educator at Family Development Enterprise, Incorporated, under the leadership of Dr. Lula Williams, Executive Director. This book is special to her because it discusses peer pressure, bullying, and body shaming that often happens in adolescent years. Jordan desires that this book will help others identify peer pressure and how to see every person as an individual and not a beauty standard.
