Annie L. Varner was born in Opelika, Alabama. At a very early age, she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. She completed a two-year course of study in Christian Counseling at the Halpine Church School. To develop a sound ministry foundation, she enrolled at the Metropolitan Faith Center School of Ministry. In 1999, she began training for the Deaconate and in 2004; she was elevated to the position of Reverend. While serving at Doctor's Hospital in Lanham Maryland as a Chaplain, she was inspired to write her first book, "The Mind of a Grasshopper." In 2014, she graduated from Greater Mount Calvary Bible Institute with a certificate in Ministry. In 2020, Reverend Varner wrote her second book entitled, "The Heaven Bound Train". In 2022, she joined a collaboration of women writers from all over the world in "Daughters of Destiny, a View of Biblical Heroines through the Eyes of 21st Century Women, a 40 Writer Collaboration. Finally, in 2023, she penned her recent book, "Women of Faith: Searching, Sharing, Soaring, along with ten contributing writers.
